I have 33cm FM, Will try to join that net and while we are at it a simplex test might provide some interesting results.

To all, Several of us have 900Mhz transceiver and are in the beginning phase of scheduling an evening when we can have a 33cm net. I wasn't sure who to contact about this so I'm just posting up here on the reflector. Please reply with input. Thanks, Brian KE4WGI

It's a little bit early to start soliciting for August Net Controllers,
however, there's no better time than the present!
DSTAR Wednesday- 6, 19, 20, 27 August
2m Thursday- 7, 14, 21, 28 August
So take a net or two during the month of August, especially for 2m!
Otherwise at 2000 the only thing you'll hear is dead air! I will not be in
town on the 7th, so that net is open to anyone who wants to be the NCS.
SPECIAL NETS- Plan is to put on multiple special nets for the month of
August. Since the 10m HF "ground wave" net went very well, to have another
"ground wave" net on eithe 20m or 80m (sorry techs, you'll have to take a
"bye" on this one) and a weekend 70 cm net on Saturday morning or Sunday
evening (I'm leaning towards Saturday AM). So please send me your
feedback on the possibility of both of the special nets so we can get them
scheduled for August.
If the participation in the 70cm net goes well, I'd like to make this a
permanent weekly net as part of our schedule. But with a new net, comes
the need for net controllers... 🤔
Oh... and there's a member of the club that just got 6m capability... more
to follow on this too.
NET CONTROLLER TRAINING- I'm going to draw a line in the sand for this one
and just put the training on the schedule and solicit signups. Looking to
tentatively schedule the training the week of 30 August which will include
a online training session on the 25th and practice nets on the 30th (so
Club Pres... would like permission to use the 2m and/or the 70cm repeater
for training). So if you're interested in finally getting training, SIGN
UP! And we'll need "elmer" hams on the practice nets for check-ins and
comments too.
73 and we'll see you down the log!
