[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] ARES

So, I think this is a really good discussion we need to have. As it sits, I am the ARES EC for Alexandria, I have not been elected or appointed to any club position. I do engage with members of MV ARC, and people who are not club members at all. I think that is the point of the ARES EC, to act as an enabler and go between for the various clubs and personalities in a given area. I don't necessarily define what EmComm is doing, but rather look at the requirements from the Emergency Managers (municipalities) and see which clubs/people can fill those gaps, then try to facilitate that. I believe ARC leadership is working on a committee for EmComm within the club, which I believe was called the ARC ERG (emergency radio group?). 

That being said, do you have a POC for your AuxComm class? I'd love to arrange one to be run for Alexandria. Currently I only have COM-T and we have a couple of COM-Ls but no AuxComms in our ranks (either ARES or ARC).
