[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] FEMA ICS Training Opportunities: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800 (for ARES requirements)

Good morning all,

I wanted to share a training opportunity we received from DC Water’s Office
of Emergency Management. Please feel free to share with any of your staff.



The DC Water’s Office of Emergency Management invites our regional partners
to participate in four upcoming virtual trainings related to NIMS and ICS.
While these trainings can be completed online on FEMA’s website,
individuals taking these virtual courses will have the opportunity to ask
questions and engage instructors about the content. Please see below for
the schedule of courses:

   - *March 6*
      - *IS-100: Introduction to the Incident Command System*, ICS 100 –
      8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
      - *IS-700: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System*
      – 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
   - *March 11 *
      - *IS-200: Incident Command System for Initial Response* – 8:30 AM –
      12:00 PM
      - *IS-800: National Response Framework, An Introduction* – 1:00 PM –
      4:00 PM
