CQ All-

We are halfway through the month of February and now it's time to start the
"ask" for net control stations for the month of March!

DSTAR Wednesday: 5, 12, 19 and 26 March
2m Thursday: 6, 13, 20, and 27 March

I will not be available to take any nets the first week of March due to a
work trip.

NET CONTROL TRAINING-  We are getting woefully thin on the number of
constant and persistent net control volunteers.  For the most part it is
N8IK on DSTAR, and KO2THF, WA6MPR and me.   If you're unsure about how to
be an NCS and want to be one, I'm still willing to conduct training which
consists of an online class and practice net sessions.   I can do
individual training (but you won't get a practice net), but I conduct a
full class, I usually require 3-4 students to make the practice nets worth
the time.  I'm looking to put a NCS training class on for April.  I'll lock
in the date once I know what my work travel schedule is looking like for
that month, but I'm more than happy to take RSVPs now.  Worst case scenario
is the class moves to May.

POP UP 220 NET-   My plans for the last snow day was to conduct a "pop up"
220 net during the snow day last week, but somehow the work schedule at
home got in the way.  Since we've got another potential storm that is
coming mid-week this week, I may try this again while everyone is at home
staying out of the snow.   So if there is interest in a pop up 220 net this
week, send me an email and charge up your 220 rigs!
