[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] ARC Christmas Party

Next Friday, in lieu of our regular membership business meeting, we will be hosting our annual Christmas Party at Aldo's Italian Kitchen.  This is a new venue for us and I think its a perfect fit.  We'll have our own dining room with a small bar and a large screen display for the slide show of 2025 events.  There is ample antenna-friendly parking available adjacent to the restaurant and after 5PM, none of the assigned parking guidance applies.
 
This party promises to be a great event!  The restaurant owner has put together a special menu for us consisting of an appetizer (2), main meal (3) and dessert (2).
 
As we only have space for about 30 attendees, we'll need RSVP's.  Ian Keith, N8IK, has agreed to manage the RSVP list as he has in past years.  Please get the names of those in your party into Ian (iann8ik at gmail.com mailto:iann8ik at gmail.com) as soon as possible and please indicate your main meal preference (see attached menu).  You are not locked into this choice.  You can adjust when you order.  This just helps the kitchen be more ready for us.
 
As an added attraction for those that chose to participate, will be conducting a Secret Santa session.  Everyone that brings a present, gets a ticket number and gets to select a gift when their number is called.  We recommend that gifts be limited to $15-$20 max.  Wrapping is optional but makes the blind selection more challenging.   Secret Santa is an optional activity and participation is not required to attend the Christmas Party.
 
Lastly, as a token of my appreciation for participating in Club activities and events this year, the President is buying the first round of drinks for the assembled group!  Merry Christmas!
