Alexandria Radio Club,

Please put Saturday, January 24th and Sunday January 25th, 2026 on your calendar for the ARC Winter Field Day!

There are a lot of details to sort out, but for now we expect to have Alexandria Fire Station 210 as our location again.

Winter Field Day really offers something for everyone whether it is crushing SSB or CW QSOs, exploring emergency communications digital modes (excluding WSJT modes), satellite comms, off-grid power, mobile equipment, or other stuff-hits-the-fan communication capabilities.  If you peruse the multipliers in the Winter Field Day Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), you will see the organizer's clear goal of touching various forms of emergency communication.  We have a lot of experience on a wide variety of topics in this club so I'm pretty sure we can craft our event to meet the interest of those that would like to participate.
