CQ All-

Yep... it's that time again to start looking for volunteer NCS' for
September! And hopefully we will have *more *available volunteers after
next week's training!

DSTAR Wednesday: 3, 10, 17, 24 September
2m FM Thursday: 4, 11, 18, 25 September

NCS TRAINING: We have 5 "students" for training next week, which is the
most I've had in well over a year! To keep the class manageable,
especially for the practice nets, I'm not going to take on any more
students this round. For next week's training, we will be using the 2m
repeater for practice and training nets after 1930 on Monday the 25th and
starting on 0930 on Saturday morning for the student run practice nets.
We'll release the repeaters back to "general amateur use" once all of the
on the air training is complete for both days. On Saturday AM, I'll need a
few "elmers" or anyone else that wants to act as QSO stations for the
student run nets, so please join us if you can.

SEPTEMBER SPECIAL NETS: I had ZERO interest in any Special Nets for the
month of August, but I'll put the offer back on the table to do the two
special nets in September, one 70 cm net, and one on HF. Depending on the
daytime conditions, we can do the net on 40, 20 or 10 meters. If you're
interested in either or both nets, please send me an email so I can keep a
running tally on the interest factor. The last time we did a daytime club
HF net, there was a lot of great participation (even for the stations who
could hear me but I could not copy them).

I'm going to be on two work trips the week of 1 September and 21 September,
so I cannot do any 2m nets or special nets during those weekends.,
Anyspecial nets will have to be on the weekends of the 13th or 20
September.

Thanks for participating in our nets and we'll see you down the log!
Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns!
