W4HFH NET REPORT: 31July2025

2M Net	

Great Thursday Net this week with 15 participants tuned in.  We had a 
couple of new hams checking in for their very first time which is 
awesome and we extend them a warm welcome.  Berryville Hamfest was 
one of the key discussion points as it occurs this weekend and the 
need to recruit new net controllers into our ranks so that we can 
sustain are regular nets (2M / 70CM) and add some ad hoc nets into 
the mix to exercise our repeaters and increase the number of members 
who are experienced and comfortable running a net.

I've had a commitment Wed and Thursday evening for the last 2 months 
so I couldn't join in.
