ARC Members
First Item:
Ok, here is a list of the ARC volunteers along with their MCM assignments that I've been able to glean out of various conversations / nets & emails but I know this list is probably not complete. I know we're fielding more than 10 people!
1. To those that I may have missed, please send me your info (Callsign, email and assigned location) and I will add it to the ARC master list for MCM support. Questions? Send those too!

Second Item:
1. For those participating in MCM support, there will be an all-hands meeting at the Armed Forces Retirement Home on 19 Oct from 0830 to 1330 hrs. This meeting is especially important for 1st time volunteers and very informative for the rest of the group.
2. There is one potential small wrinkle in this plan for ARC, AARC and PARC members. Also occurring on 19 Oct is the joint POTA / JOTA event at Columbia Island Marina sponsored by the aforementioned three clubs. The intention of the POTA / JOTA event is to bring in as many Scouts (Boys, Girls, Sea Scouts etc) for the JOTA activity and allow the attending scouts an opportunity to earn an Amateur Radio Merit Badge. This event will take place from 0800-1400 on the 19th, a date that was coordinated between ARRL and the Scouts organization.
3. The bottom line here is that we would like to identify those members who intend to support both the POTA / JOTA event and the MCM such that we can provide a separate orientation session for you in lieu of the All Hands meeting at the AFRH on the 19th as you can't be in two places at once! and your presence at the POTA / JOTA event is critical,

REQUESTED ACTION:
For the ARC members, please get your responses to the above items into me ASAP as time is running short and we need sort out the details of any MCM Orientation session that we need to conduct.
I appreciate your patience and commitment to supporting volunteer efforts in the DMV.

Thanks!
73,
Sean
