[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Field Day Dry Run/Field Ops practice. w

I would like to see a Field Day like set up. I've been working on the
go-kit power pack. I also will bring back my Ten-Tec Eagle in April.
Maybe Late April will provide good weather for an event.

Sorry for late reply. I accidentally forgot to press send and this sat in
my drafts folder.
I'm planning on being at Mason Neck Park from around noon to 3ish today.
I'm gonna look for a treeline that protects me from the wind a little. I'm
hoping I can get my new pi setup for wsjt-x this morning in the warmth of
home before heading out. I'll pretty much be only on FT8, and the band will
depend on what antenna I can get up in the trees. If you see me on your RX,
give me a quick QSO please.

I know we never really put anything together but, today is too pretty to be
inside. I'm headed to Fort Hunt Park to test out my stuff and do some FT8
on 10m. I'll be on 2m also but, don't know if I can see the repeater from
there. Might just be simplex on 52. Stop by if you're in the area. I'll
probably be there until 2 or 3.

For some reason my last email didn't make it to the mailing list it seems.
Which day next weekend looks good for everyone? I'm thinking we can either
do a POTA park near alex (mt vernon trail technically is a POTA) or we can
find a park elsewhere that is close to alex and maybe grab some
food/beers/cigars after the fact?
