[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Field Day 2024

Good evening all,

It looks like this year's field will be a true exercise in emergency
preparedness. The temperatures this week look to be just shy of 100°. For
that reason, I am asking for an additional safety officer to help keep on
eye one everyone in the heat. Please let me know if you can assist. I would
encourage you to bring along a cooler if you have one. We'll have water,
Gatorade, and Liquid IV hydration mix.

We are still in need of 2 more tarps, either to block the rain...or block
the sun. We are setting up at 10am.

Also if you are providing a laptop for logging, please remember to set up a
separate user account name W4HFH with no password. Also be sure to install
https://www.n3fjp.com/fieldday.html.  We'll network the laptops together
with this logging software to keep a master log and prevent duplicate
contacts - worked great last year.

Remember let's keep an eye on each other and stay cool! See y'all at
Chinquapin Park.
