Thanks to all that participated in my first net as net control.  Thanks to Bryan for the training and key suggestions.  I think everyone survived but the jury may still be out!!
At the beginning, we suffered some strange noises like buzzing, indiscriminate noise and a keypad phone tone like someone was trying to dialup the net.  We had no check-ins initially from the portable / mobile operators.  Puzzling!  We opted to press on like good soldiers and started general check-ins.  We never looked back.  Total number of participants tonight was 12.
