[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Excess gear mystery

We have some mystery gear held by a club member that is wanting to find a new home.  While we have some rough sizes for the two bundles of equipment (10X22X31, 15X22X41) and know that one piece requires more than one person to move it, we are unsure what this equipment is.  It's reportedly been in storage more than a decade.
 
That being said, this equipment is being stored by former VP Mark Bonanno and he is trying to recover storage space at his house.  He suggested that we offer it up at the Winterfest at Oakton High School however given the weight and unknown marketability of this equipment, we're not sure if that is the best way forward.  If the equipment is in working order and has a market, then Winterfest would be an option.  If this gear is more closely aligned with a boat anchor, then hazardous recycle may be a more appropriate option.  
 
What we are looking for is anyone in the club with knowledge of this equipment who could help us assess what it's disposition should be.  
 
As Winterfest is only a couple of weeks away, please respond soonest with any information you may have on this mystery gear.  We do have space left on our tables at Winterfest in case you would like to do some spring housecleaning!!
