[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Winterfest

All,

  Another reminder that we have Vienna Wireless' upcoming Winterfest.  I
will be there.  As a VE, I will be assisting with the test session.

 

Vienna Wireless is hosting their annual Winterfest at Oakton High School on
Sunday March 10th, at 0800.  The high school is located at 2900 Sutton Road
in Vienna.

 

ARC has reserved 3 tables for the event.  If anyone has any items that they
would like to sell, please let me know so we can make proper arrangements to
get them over to the site and other arrangements if member is not going to
be attending the event.

 

Also, We would like to get a good inventory of club gear that member's
currently have in their shacks/homes.  With that info, the club can make a
decision on either keeping the items or disposing of them via the Winterfest
event, as a means of make some money on items we no longer have a need for.

 

If you don't have any items that you would like to sell, the Winterfest is
usually a good time to get some needed items, such as cables/coax,
connectors, antennas, etc. to either continue building out your shack or
making a go-kit/portable set up.  A good list of vendors and events is
