Thanks, Joe. This really helps. (And, of course, we don't want this open to the whole world.)
We're working on clarifying who does what in the realm of club communications. There are different people who handle different media: Jason, Ian, Richard Morani, me. We hope to design a chart, or SOP, so members--especially new ones--can know who's who.

Then a member will have to approve you.... you know to keep out the
spamming bot types... then you should be good to go. Jason, WA6MPR runs
the server. Perhaps, he should be the discord committee chair? just a
thought.
