  Just a reminder that the Marine Corps Marathon is fast approaching.  They are still in need of many volunteers.  This is a great opportunity to support a great event and organization but also use/test your comms gear in a real world setting.  Below is some information on signing up for the event.

 

Please consider this if you have the opportunity.  Unfortunately, I will be in EMT school that morning or I would be out volunteering and trying to use my new radios!!!!!!!

Volunteering is easy:  just to www.hamvolunteers.com <http://www.hamvolunteers.com>   and register and don’t forget to identify what assignment location you’d like – or just say “assignment anywhere ok”  

 

But you need to declare an assignment for the MCM event after you have registered.
