[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] ***REMINDER*** 18 April 2m Net Changes

CQ All-

As a reminder, tomorrow night's FM net wills start out on the 2m repeater,
and then early in the net there will be a simulated "casualty" of the 2m
repeater where upon my instruction as the NCS, we will QSY over to 444.600,
PL 107.2   KQ4CMA will act as the backup controller and will monitor the 2m
frequency for any "stragglers" who may not have heard the QSY over to 440
and kindly ask you to join us on the 70cm repeater.   This will be an
opportunity to test our capabilities and to see if we can successfully
continue a net in the event of an actual equipment casualty.

As for nets for May... Now's the time to pick your net for next month!!!
Looking for DSTAR controllers (to give N8IK a break) on 1, 8, 15 (WA6MPR)
22 and 29 May.   FM Controllers for 2, 9 (WA6MPR), 16, 23, and 30 May.   If
the 2m/70cm experiment goes well, we might try to schedule another net
where we perform simulated repeater casualty and use another one of our
repeaters.
