VWSers:  If you are an ARRL member, consider signing up to operate as W1AW/4 from your own station.  This will be the last Virginia W1AW/4 VOTA event this year.  The event runs Oct 25-31.   

 

We need your help boosting the overall VOTA point score for W1AW/4 so we can overtake our friends in W1AW/0 calling area.  Currently the “4 calling area” team is ranked  #4 in the whole Cosmos in the ARRL leaderboard (below).  While the # of Qs is cool, points are tallied based on the ARRL status of the Q.  All Qs and points are tallied via Log Book of the World input.  For example working VWS members: Bob, K2TV or Brendan, KM4HRR will generate 35 points each, and the ARRL CEO is worth 300 points.  Go get ‘em!
