Rick - I don't see the upside to this note to club members and public on the
reflector coming from a member of the club Leadership Group.

You know that the members of the club board of directors were duly elected
by club membership last year.  You have known for a month that the board has
been working on a draft proposal for tax-exempt status for the club.  And
you know that work is still being done on the proposal because you were
told.  So, what is the upside of confusing people about what may or will be
in the completed proposal?

What is the upside of raising issues unrelated to the tax-exemption
proposal; and what is the upside of publicly suggesting that the club
elected board of directors have ill motives, without producing any evidence
to support it? 

As stated in the meeting notification, the read-ahead material for the
October club meeting will be sent to club membership by the end of this
week; surely, it won't take over a week to read and digest the proposal, it
is not that voluminous.

I don't see the upside to your note.
