I thank Ian N8IK and Don KI4D for diagnosing my issues with the mailing
list. Nothing was wrong with the list, it's just that I didn't realize my
messages that I sent into the list would not be reflected back to me, and
that I would have to go to my sent folder to see them sent INTO the list.
So, not like it's a "repeater" or something and pressing the TX button
gives you a satisfying kerchunk when your RX works - but that's what i had
been expecting.

Hello All ARC. Hope to meet you on air soon.

But at the same time i wanted to go look at older messages - and found to
my amazement that the original message I used to sign on (with a password
embedded in clear text) is still in my gmail inbox, and is still the only
way I can get access to the mailman, and then I can see all the private
e-mail addresses of all the subs of Alexandria Radio Club. That means,
there is no 2FA (two factor authentication), no privacy (if someone finds
an old password they get in) and no real way to change it, as once you
change it, "mailman" sends you a copy of that letter, *with the password in
plaintext*.

If it costs money to change over to a more secure platform, I want to help,
or perhaps there is a newer version of mailmain in the modern era?

That password I was able to find,(in plaintext) was set in
