One again, my opponent has made false statements.
I HAVE been club president. I HAVE been the club treasurer. I HAVE
been the Field Day chair. I HAVE been the Alexandria Emergency
Coordinator. I have held all these long before Don or Sean were
members of the Alexandria Radio Club. The documentation is in the
club officers guide. If it were not for Harry Jones, Rick Bunn and
myself, there would not have been an Alexandria Radio CLub at this
point.
For the record, I am NOT opposed to seeking tax exempt status for the
club. I think it's a good idea that makes fiscal sense. The way this
was attempted this past summer was not the way to build consensus.
Sean, please get your facts straight.
