Tom Schiller, N6BT, was licensed in 1959. He is an antenna expert
extraordinaire, who has continually pushed the state-of-the art in HF
antennas since the early 1980's.  As such, he was a co-founder of Force 12,
Inc..  He developed the antenna design philosophy and intellectual property
that is the basis for the successful Force 12 product line. He may best be
known for his development of the first trapless tri.band Yagi antenna. His
company shipped over 27,000 antennas, mostly HF Yagis.  He sold the Force 12
product line in 2008.  Since 2010 he has continued antenna research, design.
development, and manufacture, selling his new line of antennas under the
name Next Generation Antennas.  These antennas incorporate his latest
research and patent pending technology.  Tom already has several patents
related to wireless communications antenna research, including flying drones
through antenna patterns.   Tom resides in Kingman AZ, and is a Life Member
of the ARRL.  He is also a member of the Northern California Contest Club,
the Paso Robles Amateur Radio Club, the Mother Lode DX/Contest Club, QCWA,
and co-founder of Team Vertical that set 24 World Records. Tom has authored
several ARRL QST articles, and was co-founder of the ARRL National Contest
Journal (NCJ).   In 2022 Tom published the fourth edition of his very
popular book "Array of Light" which was first published in 2010.  It
contains new information on verticals, empirical testing, development of the
VOR, repurposing of old material and more.  His book has a 5-star rating on
eHam.net.  Tom has had multiple appearances at the PACIFICON Antenna Forum,
and enjoys speaking to amateur radio clubs; he has been a guest speaker to
many clubs across the country.
