[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Request for Field Day 2023 Meal Reservations and Operating Preferences

On behalf of the Alexandria Radio Club and Field Day 2023 Field Day Chairman
Bob Crowley, KO4ZIK, welcome to Field Day 2023.  Below is a link for making
meal reservations and on-the-air operating preferences.  

 

Grocery shopping for Field Day starts this week and an accurate headcount is
essential to make sure there is enough food for everyone who attends.  For
this reason, please make reservations to make sure you will have a meal.
Paper bracelets will be used as receipts for meal payments.  Payments may be
made by cash, check or card.  The club treasurer, Erik Misavage, KI4BXU,
will take payments on site.

 

Information about Field Day location, hours of operations, and Band Captains
is attached.  The club Field Day 2023 photo will be taken on site at 12:45
p.m.

 

This year, the Governor of Virginia has issued a Certificate of Recognition
that recognizes June 24-25, 2023, as AMATEUR RADIO OPERATOR RECOGNITION DAYS
in the COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, and has called the observance to the
attention of all citizens, attached.
