This note is forwarded from K3MT a long-time subject matter expert on
antenna engineering for NVIS communications.  The Fiedler book is probably
the best text on NVIS applicable to regional emergency communications.

Fiedler and Farmer's book has been a sort of bible on NVIS comms for a few
decades.  It was out of print for a bit, then we brought it back as the 3rd
edition, still available, sold by DX Engineering, KJI Electronics, and
others.  I am the publisher.

The book is a compilation of how the US military developed use of NVIS.  
It's a good resource for HF Emergency Comms.

But age is catching up.  We have decided to discontinue the book and provide
remaining stock until sold out.  Therefore:

    1) If you want a copy, order soon.
    2) If any entity would like to take over publishing it, contact me.
