[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Icom 7300 help

If y'all do an impromptu field day on the 7300, I'm interested.  I just got mine 10 days ago and it is my first HF radio.  I've learned to talk but, I know there's a lot more the radio can do.

Bjorn, I'm only on 20m at the moment but, I have a short term project to get a 10m vertical built (hopefully friday or saturday).  Once I'm up on 10m, I'd be more than happy to make some local contact with you to help you learn your radio.  I don't know enough about it to teach yet but, I can be an ear on the other end to tell you how your signal is.  I also got FT8 working in 20m so, I could get you going on that at a very introductory level.

May I appeal for help getting to know my new Icom 7300. I am asking to
observe someone using such a radio. I will make my way to my Elmer’s shack
or we can use my radio here. (At my place so far I have a 6m and 10m
antenna that I hang vertically out my window on a pole, not a very
satisfactory arrangement.)
