MCM this year is under new leadership. If you can, this is a great event. The Marine Corps Marathon is one of the biggest and most public of public service events. They need 150 amateur radio operators on RACE DAY to cover mile markers, food stops, medical aid stations, food and water stops as well as zone commanders and operations. If you need more information give me a call or send an email.

Gents,
Just another reminder that the Marine Corps Marathon is still looking for a bunch of volunteers this year. Based on feedback, they've cut the number of registration steps in half (just 3 now). Two of these steps you'll only have to do once due to the transition to the new site.
I've attached a recruitment they've put together for this. Please disseminate to your teams and relevant parties.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Scott Larimer KN4RPA (kn4rpa at arrl.net <mailto:kn4rpa at arrl.net> ) who is the new MCM Amateur Radio Lead.
Thanks,

Gents,
I've been informed that ham registration for the 2023 Marine Corps Marathon has opened and they are seeking volunteers as usual. About 150 spots in total - a great opportunity to practice and sharpen operating skills.
It's important to note that they have changed the website (and thus registration steps). To register, one will need to visit this website: https://hamcommunity.com/mcm-register
* There is also a link on the old website to take them to the new page, but it's probably better to inform folks ahead of time where possible.
Please disseminate to your teams and relevant parties.
