NVFMA – Northern Virginia FM Association has been the keeper of some of the areas best wide range repeaters.  In recent years they have lost some of their locations so the foot prints have not been as prominent.  The organization has been working hard under Shawn Stokes’ leadership to rejuvenate and improve their many repeaters.  Below is an announcement regarding the improvements to their 220MHz FM repeaters.  If you have 220 equipment, give it a try. 

And while your at it.  Try 146.79, 146.91 and 447.025

We are pleased to announce that our newest repeater is on the air.  Last Thursday we were able to get the 224.880 - (PL 77.0) on the air at the Tysons site, thanks to Steve W4YHD and Mike KD4LQS.   The machine is up and its AllStar controller is working and it's connected to the 224.100 repeater in Fairfax, giving improved coverage into Arlington and Bethesda for the system.  There will be pictures of the new install on the website soon.

 

If you have 220, please check it out!
