[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] CARA Fest is Sunday 2 October

Good afternoon,

Next Sunday, 2 October 2022 is the annual CARA Fest at the Howard County
Fairgrounds in West Friendship, Maryland. We are emailing all the local
club POCs and editors listed with ARRL to help spread the word, thank you
in advance for your consideration!



CARA Fest It is a Hamfest and STEM Fest for all ages! Attendees can buy and
sell equipment, sit for a licensing exam, meet with a variety of local
clubs, and explore professional emergency communications vehicles, while a
variety of STEM activities and demonstrations will keep visitors of all
ages engaged.



Schedule of events:

   - Vendor/tailgater sales, 7am-1pm
   - FREE license testing, 8am-10:30am
   - Demos and STEM activities, 10am-3pm
   - Food available for purchase, 7am-1pm



Admission is $10 per person (kids under 16 are FREE). Outdoor
vendor/tailgater spaces are $10 each, indoor tables are $20 each. You can
pre-purchase admission tickets and tailgating/vendor/table spaces online
via PayPal ahead of time <https://www.carafest.org/tickets/>. Payment at
the gate is cash only.
