All,
My first e-mail was to ask what you all thought about this drill and our participation. The drill starts at 11:20 AM and many will not be able due to work. But please look at the attached documents and let me know what you think about them and if we should add some of this to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s . At 11AM tomorrow for those who can, I will call a net on the 147.315 repeater and as is standard for a call up ask about your availability and your equipment status.

As with CERT our call up should be a short time event. There will be no deployments.

According to Marjorie’s note, this is only a one minute commitment so probably not worthwhile at a club level but wouldn’t hurt to go thru the instructions on the indicated website at a personal level.

In the midwest, there is the New Madrid Seismic Zone. There's also a smaller zone on the coast of South Carolina. The United States Geological Service has lots of nifty information on earthquakes at https://www.usgs.gov/programs/earthquake-hazards.
