[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Thomas Jefferson High School project getting a ride into space - WTOP News

Led by VWS, thanks to a lot of cooperation by VEs in the DC/Metro areas,
thirty-six students at "TJ" were licensed as Techs on November 12th.   TJ is
forming an amateur radio club.  One of the most impressive things I saw on
the wall while at TJ was a senior class project on development of an OFDM
system, the same highspeed digital modulation scheme used in the most
advanced ham radio software, VARA.  See attachment.  More than just amazing,
those kids are far beyond amazing for High Schoolers in my opinion.
