Whilst I do not post to this list very often, I do read it. Your  
comments struck a chord in that they reminded me of the overwhelming  
level of appreciation and gratitude that I felt when I studied with  
all the wonderful folks at the Alexandria Radio Club to obtain my  
Extra Class license circa 2007/2008 time frame.

Indeed, the day I took and passed the Extra Class licensure  
examination I realized I could not have done it without the club's  
help. I am not now nor have I ever been "an HF guy", but I did want to  
achieve that milestone in my life and it was a highly rewarding  
personal experience whence I did effectuate passing the examination.

Congratulations on attaining your new license class and enjoy the new  
privileges you have earned.
