For those interested in becoming a registered SKYWARN spotter, a link to the
online basic course is enclosed.  Also, in conjunction with the
Baltimore-Washington SKYWARN Program, every Tuesday at 8:30 PM there will be
a Weather Net on the Bluemont 147.300 +600 repeater.  The purpose of this
net is to help educate hams about the SKYWARN program, discuss past
activations and upcoming events. This will give hams a chance to learn about
the SKYWARN program. There will be an open discussion period to ask
questions about SKYWARN and how hams can help out.  Everyone in the coverage
area of the Bluemont repeater is invited to check in.
