All,
Thank you for supporting and participating in the ARRL
Annual Field Day exercise / Contest / Club event.
While the HF conditions were not the best this year, all of the clubs had
the same conditions.
This year was a success for many reasons.
1 - Members who had not come out in the past came out and
operated. Every time I look around for an empty station, someone was their
to make it operations.
2- Looked like everyone pitched in with set up and take
down and we left the part in great shape.
Some special recognitions are in order
Mr. William Wilson KM4KLK - Our grill master. This was a major effort on
his part and he spent most of field day keeping all of us fed. His menu was
outstanding and I would bet that NO ONE was hungry.
Mr. Ted Einersen W9TCE - For the Lemonade and for being there to help.
Mr. Rich Adamy KA4GFY - Trailer, power, antennas,
Mr. Joe Porcelli - KT3I - Not only the first successful Satellite station,
but with contacts on several satellites and with several stations.
Mr. Don Lewis - KI4D - Don did the PR, brought out the Boy Scouts, and
many other items that I either did not think of or did not get to
Mr. Sean Gallagher - K4KBK - Our VP.
Mr. Richard Morani - KW4UJ - Who was all over making sure all was working
well
Mr. Bob Crumley KO4ZIK - Helping with the EOC test at the beginning for FD.
And all of the operators and members who came out to support the event many
of whom where not the OLD TIMERS.
