[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] I Hope We Have Enough Food and Snacks

Based on the Field Day survey we have less than 20 people signed-up for
Field Day meals, so far. If we plan for 20 people and a few VIPs, I have a
feeling that there will not be enough food and snacks. Since those who have
signed-up and paid will get a wrist band, there likely will not be enough
food and snack for others. Therefore, it is important to take the survey
today so you can be counted for meals and snacks; we will collect your
$10.00 at Field Day. The survey is at https://forms.gle/1L8yJzDic6t3rcqZ8.
Again, if you were planning to sign up for Field Day and want meals, and
have not gotten around to it, today is the day. At the meeting tonight
final decisions will be made about how much food we need to purchase.

The survey will also give us an idea of your operating interests, and allow
planning to accommodate them.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Subject: ARC 2022 Field Day Final Planning Meeting via ZOOM, Monday, June
20, 2022, 7:00 p.m.

The purpose of the Monday planning meeting is to establish and coordinate
final details for Field Day. The Zoom meeting link is at the end of this
email. In conjunction with Rick Bunn, the 2022 Field Day Chair, we are
requesting all members of Alexandria Radio Club, who plan to attend Field
Day, to please fill out the survey form at
https://forms.gle/1L8yJzDic6t3rcqZ8. We need this survey form filled out
prior to the Zoom meeting on Monday. We need this information for final
discussions on Monday about event setup, operations, and food service
planning.

Attached is the 2022 Field Day flyer and press release. As a member of
Alexandria Radio, if you have contacts in the news media or have suggestions
on how we can spread the word about Field Day in the news media, please send
me a note with that information. It will be most appreciated.

At the Monday meeting, Band Captain/Team leaders should be prepared to
describe in detail their planned station setups using the checklist outline
below. This will provide an opportunity to address any shortfalls before
Field Day, and thus prevent gaps or the need for return trips to home for
forgotten items.

Band Captain/Team Lead Checklist

*	Rigs (24 hours)
*	Earphones
*	Antenna #1
*	Antenna #2
*	Computers and software (24 hours)
*	Planned Modes of operation (Phone, CW, Digital)
*	Power
*	Shelter (including plans for adverse weather)

Food Service plans will be described with detailed menus for each meal.
COVID precautions will also be described.

There will be ample time for questions and answers during the meeting.

Thanks for your cooperation.
