All,

I am sorry I could not make the meeting yesterday. I had
oral surgery and had some pain so Pain killers yes, driving or zoom no.

                Current Status.

I understand that the presentation was made on this year's
Field Day, but Field Day is ONLY AS GOOD as the club makes it.

KM4KLK is our field day food chair. He is taking
precautions for COVID and has a food plan. Ted is making his famous lemon
aid. The Field Day budget is $250 I think so there is a $10 food ticket,
you can pay Wilson at Field Day.

The Park is reserved and we know how to turn on the lights.

A Sign up Sheet is being assembled and I would like to hear
from all club members with regard to attendance. If you would please let me
know when you can attend (time of day and what day(s). We need operators to
fill in during the night on Saturday.

There is also a schedule for EACH station, If you sign up
for a time (2 hour blocks) you have the station for that time. If no one
signs up then it's open to first come first served. A good score is
predicated on keeping the station productive for 24 hours.

We have more radios then we can count, but antennas are:

75 Meters - Vertical and Dipole

40 Meters - Vertical and Dipole

                20 Meters - Dipole

15 Meters and 10 Meters unknown

Power - We have 2 2KW Honda Generators and some extension
cords, We will bring out some power strips for the generators to run the
RADIOS. Lights and Computers can be run from the outlets in the pavilion.

In case of rain, I have two tarps and some others have
tarps so we can cover our equipment or hang the tarps around the pavilion to
keep the water out.

Those who attended the club meeting got a run down on the
trailer rehab. I am working on that to include installing the floor and
floor cover, installing the doors with better structure on the cabinets,
installing the DMR (2/220/330)FM/DMR radio. This will replace the Alinco
220 rig and we will replace the antenna with a tri-band whip. We also will
add a 900MHz antenna and a 440 antenna for the 440 repeater that Rich added.
I also have the few parts needed to properly ground the IC-706MKIIG that is
installed in the trailer. I will ground the radio as well.

Also on the list is to find out why the solar cells are not
charging the batteries and fix that. I know other stations will use solar,
but if we get this fixed the trailer can also contribuite.

I do WANT and NEED your FEEDBACK. Only 14 DAYS to FIELD
DAY.

73 Rick N4ASX

Field Day Chair.
