[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Summary of Field Day 2022 Planning Meeting, April 22

The following is a partial summary of the ARC Field Day 2022 Planning
meeting conducted on  April 22.  A link to the Zoom recording can also be
found below.  

 

Summary/Highlights

*	ARC Field Day will be held at Armistead Booth Park in Alexandria on
25-26 June.  Setup time begins at 10:00 a.m.  
*	W4HFH will operate as a 4A or 5A station (75/80 Meters, 40 Meters,
20 Meters, 10/15 Meters) plus a VHF Station
*	Band Captains

*	KA4GFY - 75/80 Meters
*	KI4BXU/N4ASX - 40 Meters
*	W2JWP/N4CWP - 20 Meters
*	KV3W - 10/15 Meters
*	KI4D - VHF

*	Wilson (KM4KLK) has volunteered to lead food service
*	Food service COVID protocols will be decided to just prior to Field
Day
*	Joe (KT3I) volunteered to set up an AREDN link to Station 210 with
the potential for networking N3FJP.  Joe also offered to bring a SATCOM
ground station to FD, the one planned for use with the ISS contact.  Joe was
uncertain about his work schedule but could train someone to use the SATCOM
station.  Joe also offered laptops if needed.  Station 210 will stop by FD.
*	N4ASX will have the N3FJP software password, Club will use Thumb
drives
*	Bob (KO4ZIK) will be FD Safety officer
*	N8IK has a FD manual that will be given to N4ASX
