On July 21, 2022, during extravehicular activities (VKD-54), Russian
cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev deployed ten Russian small spacecraft. These
spacecraft are transmitting SSTV (Robot36), voice id (FM), and
telemetry (1200/2400/4800
bps .AX25 AFSK) around 437mhz. These are neat little guys. If any of
ya'll are interested, they seem to lead the ISS by 2-3 minutes across the
sky. Attached you will find a quick start guide by G7BEH for SSTV on
these birds. And while you're at it stick around for the ISS. The
astronauts aboard the space station have been spending a lot of time on
tthe VHF/UHF repeater over the past few months. Maybe you'll be lucky
enough to bag one of their QSOs.
