[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] General Class

I mentioned this at the January meeting, but thought I should mention
it again for anybody who was not at the meeting.  Several members
expressed an interest in taking a General class, but did not sign up
for the last class , so we cancelled it for lack of interest.

We ARE doing a General licensing class starting Tuesday, March 1, 2022
and ending Tuesday, May 3, 2022.  Class will be online via Zoom from 7
PM to 9 PM.  We will be offering an exam at the end.

Unlike our last classes, students will need to buy the 9th edition
ARRL General Class License Manual before class.  Best place to get it
is directly from ARRL, Ham Radio Outlet or DX Engineering.  Don't
count on Amazon because they have a history of sending old editions.

Students will also need to bring cash or a check to the exam.

We are also teaching a Technician class at the same time for people
who want to get their license.  Students will need to buy the 4th
edition of the ARRL Ham Radio License Manual.

to get their amatuer radio license, please email me at

make sure they get the link for class.
