The 71st annual Berryville Hamfest, sponsored by Shenandoah Valley ARC
will be Sunday, August 7, 2022 (Always the first Sunday in August).
Members of the Alexandria Radio Club always make a good showing at
this hamfest. Take Route 7 Westbound to Berryville. The fairgrounds
are located near the West end of business VA Route 7 and VA Route 7
bypass on the West edge of Berryville. From our direction, the
fairgrounds is on the left side of Route 7. You will cross US 340
just before you get there. Once you see the fairgrounds on the left,
take the very next left turn at the light and follow the signs.
Talk-in will be provided on the SVARC 2 meter repeater 146.820 MHz (PL
146.2 Hz).
Many of us will be departing the area by 6 AM, so listen on the
147.315 repeater and 147.315 simplex enroute.
At the hamfest, most of us are on 147.315 simplex, 446.025 MHz simplex
DSTAR and 441.000 MHz simplex, Color Code 1, Timeslot 1, Talkgroup 99
on DMR.
