[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] FW: [LongIslandCWClub] Field Day Contest class returns!!

For those interested in learning CW or in polishing CW skills, LICW will start Zoom classes on Field Day contesting this Thursday.  This class would be excellent preparation for our Field Day 2022 for those who want to do CW operating.   As you may recall, LICW gave a presentation  to Alexandria Radio Club in March of last year. LICW international membership has now grown to 2,790 members in 43 countries.  The club offers 75 classes in CW, ranging from beginner classes to advanced classes with specialty classes for interested youth and women.  To join the club link to https://longislandcwclub.org/

We are pleased to bring back the Field Day Contest class as follows:

 

Class:  Field Day Contest Class with Michael KE8AQW.  Come practice with Michael and learn the ins and outs about using CW on Field Day.  Intermediate students also welcome to polish contesting skills

 

When:  Thursdays 10PM EDT starting April 28 Zoom B

 

This is a very timely class for Field Day practice and Michael is a senior LICW member and instructor who helped write the G4FON contest trainer with Ray G4FON
