I crisscrossed the country before COVID hauling our beautiful (and heavy)  <https://geochron.us4.list-manage.com/track/click?u=08420557c9a5bb52775c5beaa&id=65c91b2030&e=ec1d379bbb> mechanical clocks to tradeshows, but the only place where I had any success was at Hamvention 2016.  Older gentlemen in jeans, ball caps, and collared shirts proudly displaying their callsigns picked through old equipment in an outside flea market, and milled through the vendor isles inside a dumpy conference center…by the thousands.  You know who are: Ham Radio guys!

Over three days of quick conversations, I realized that these people understood what Geochron had done in the analog world, and would happily pivot with me to the digital. 

Not too long after in February 2017, I sold the first 100 Geochron Digital 4K’s.  As I scrolled down the list, there they were again – half of those early adopters had a callsign next to their name.

I'm an avid cyclist, but I had a hard crash yesterday, cracked my helmet and got a concussion.  This Labor Day morning, I'm still a little unsteady.  My wife said, "Stay off the computer!"  
"This has to go out today!" I replied, "I just need an hour."  She relented.  The Dr. says stay away from computers (and email) for a couple of days.
