If you're using the WSJT-X software for FT8 on a Windows PC, you'll need to
take extra steps to be sure your system clock is accurate - less than 1
second difference to NTP.  Mac and Linux users already use the NTP service
by default (I think) but for Windows users, go to
https://satsignal.eu/ntp/setup.html for instructions on loading and
configuring Meinberg NTP.  Not as daunting as it looks and you only have to
do it once!
