   Welcome to May ,2021,as the country slowly comes out of hibernation.
Lots of good things are happening and this issue details some of them:



   - Williamsburg Area Amateur Radio Club's Special Event-May 8th
   - Amateur Radio and American Red Cross Drill- May 8th
   - VE Examiner Charts: Virginia Beach Amateur Radio Club and Stafford
   Amateur Radio Association
   - Brand new R3EMCOMM group formation with Rappahannock, Madison, Orange,
   and Culpeper Counties
   - Boy Scout work in Southeastern VA led by Chesapeake Amateur Radio
   Service
   - RAT- PAC training on RF Exposure for club use ( We'll have Section
   training in the FALL.)
   - ARRL Articles
   - An appeal for YL's by Katie K4TER
   - Another Judi's Kitchen by Judi N4JDI
   - Flyer for the Old VA Hams Tailgate
   - An appeal to for members in our Section to take on Section leadership.
   Jobs and descriptions listed.

Finally I'd like to have a Field Day discussion which is driven by club
officers. I will moderate and after a brief ARRL 2021 FD video, we'll have
you discuss your FD plans and problems. I'd like to do this on Thursday
evening May 20, 2021, at 7:00 PM. Please respond to this email at
KW4GF at ARRL.net  if you or a club designate would like to attend. I will
compile and send out links for the meeting.
