[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] KA3POX is a Silent Key

Last night I learned that Ken La Capria (KA3POX) had passed.  Today I
learned that Ken passed away from COVID-19 complications over a week ago.  A
Last Call Ceremony for Ken was held on the PG County ARES net last night.
KA3POX is located in Fort Washington, just across the Potomac, so a number
of our Alexandria Radio Club  members have used KA3POX as an relay station
for Winlink network access.  KA3POX is no longer operational.  Last year
when I reached out to Ken offering a donation for my use of KA3POX, he
kindly reminded me that KA3POX was there for everyone and was sponsored by
PG County ARES.  From that encounter, my sense was that he was a great guy,
which was confirmed today when I reached out to one of his friends.
