Forwarded is the best information on random length wire antennas that can be found anywhere.  I am passing it along because based on my own experiences, it can save a lot of time investigating solutions for end-fed antennas.  Dipoles are great wire antennas, including off-center fed, and end-fed dipoles.  However, if space or portability are real limitations, random length wire antennas can be good solutions for HF multiband performances. To complete an antenna, one can add a good 9:1 UNUN  matching unit such as those from Balun Designs <https://www.balundesigns.com/9-1-ununs/>  or Palomar Engineering <https://palomar-engineers.com/ferrite-application-experts-2/Bullet-50-450-9-1-HF-Unun-1-8-61-MHz-500-Watts-End-Fed-Antennas-p74356620> .
