All: 

 

The next meeting of the Northern Virginia FM Association will be held on
June 17th starting at 1900 hours.  The meeting will be held as a hybrid
meeting with an in-person component for those who would like to participate
and fellowship in person at the Dunn Loring Volunteer Fire Department
located at 2148 Gallows Road, Dunn Loring, VA 22027 in the bingo hall at the
back at the building.   The meeting will also be available via Zoom and the
contact information is located below.   

 

Our guest speaker will be Bryan N3ST, The Mid Atlantic Repeater Councils
(T-MARC) frequency coordinator.  Bryan will be providing a perspective on
the role of a frequency coordinator, how they interface with other
coordinators and how decisions are made about who can be coordinated on a
given frequency.   He will also talk about how T-MARC operates and how the
NVFMA and other repeater owners work together in the region to build
capacity in a controlled manner and take your questions on the process.
T-MARC has been a good partner with the NVFMA over the years and we look
forward to introducing you to the process that allows our repeaters to
operate in a crowded spectrum. 

 

After Bryan's presentation we will hold our business meeting with the agenda
being: 

 

1.	Current Operations - Repeater Updates
2.	Treasurer's report
3.	Dues Renewal
4.	50th Anniversary of the NVFMA
5.	Board Member Opening - Election for open seat
