[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] ARES ACTIVATION for Jnuary 20th and from now until the 26th

All,

                While this is primarily an ARES call up,   I don't have
sufficient ARES volunteers and this is NOT A DRILL, so I'm happy to have any
volunteers.

                We are all on STANDBY from the 16th (today) until the 26th.
Please monitor the 147.315 repeater when you can as I may need to find
operators on short notice.

                The city of Alexandria has decided to open their Emergency
Operations Center (EOC) on the 17th and the 20th.  

 

                Volunteers for the 17th are.

                8AM to 1 PM  Richard Bunn N4ASX and Ian Keith N8IK

                12:30 PM to 8 PM   Don Lewis KI4D,  Warren Wylupski 

                7:30 to Close - Richard Bunn and Ian Keith.

 

                Need volunteers to cover both the EOC and Alexandria
Hospital on the 20th

                We will run from 6AM to Midnight unless things change.

                

                For the Hospital you will need D-Star capability (HT is OK
as the D-Star repeaters are located at the hospital.

                EOC has radios for both FM and D-Star.

 

                Please let me know if you can support either location and
what hours your can support.
