I love those photos.

I especially like that there was clearly an effort to engage children and ladies.

As a MIT graduate (class of ’91 course 15), I certainly have my share of inner-geek… but the more I age,
the more I appreciate the opportunities to teach and inspire the next generation.

Thank you again.  These photos are wonderful.

P.S. — I’m working on ideas and planning for my first MF and HF rig.  I have small-ish salt water boat that I’d like to take off shore… maybe as far as 70 miles off shore, and so I’d like to buy, build and configure a salt-water marine rig for HF and MF use.   I realize that I’ll need to upgrade from a tech class license to General class to use  voice on those bands, and I’m fine with that.

This will be an exciting adventure, as all of my current experience is limited to VHF and UHF only.
I look forward to learning more about HF and MF, especially as it related to marine use and nets and other forms of comms on the high seas especially when offshore.
