[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] 1099-K from PayPal for used radios I sold???

Yep, and this was the first time after years of selling used gear,
radios, guitars, etc. I lists all the payments I accepted over the year
and the total.
I just found out, Virginia has a new law that says if you take in more
than $500 from an online payment platform, they have to submit a
1099-K. So I can't claim my radio purchase as an expense on my taxes
but I'm taxed on the full amount I sell it for, even if I took a loss.
