N4ASX and N8IK went to the Alexandria EOC this afternoon to check antennas
and install a couple of radios.  We installed a Kenwood TM-D710GA and an
Icom ID-5100A.  These are dual-band 2m/70cm radios.  The ID-5100A does
DSTAR and the D710 does APRS.  We set up the D710 as a "WIDE1-1 Relay" to
help out mobiles in the area but not to QRM the APRS infrastructure (it is
not an iGate).  10 watts to a Diamond V2000A antenna (6.2 dBi gain). See
